ChatGPT Ads Examples for Arab Businesses: 6 Mock Ads With Real Field Limits (2026)

A ChatGPT ad is a sponsored card under the answer, never inside it. Your card carries six parts: your brand name, favicon, a title of up to 50 characters, a description of up to 100, one image and a landing page. Below are six mock ads for businesses in Riyadh, Dubai, Cairo and Ras Al Khaimah, plus one weak version you should avoid.
Key takeaways
Read these five points before you write a single ad, because each one changes what you can put in your card and who will see it. Every point comes from a named source, so you can check it yourself before you brief your team or your agency.
- OpenAI says ads appear below the end of a response, are labelled as sponsored, and are shown only to logged-in adults on the Free and Go plans; Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu users see none.
- Adobe’s documentation for ChatGPT chat card ads caps the title at 50 characters and the description at 100, with a JPG or PNG image of up to 20 MB and a square image of at least 256 x 256 pixels recommended.
- OpenAI’s Ads Manager availability page listed 13 Arab countries when we checked it on 27 October 2026, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Qatar and Kuwait.
- Statcounter gives ChatGPT 75% of Saudi AI chatbot page views in September 2026, ahead of Gemini at 16.54%, which makes it the AI assistant most Saudi buyers actually open.
- OpenAI’s ad policy disallows ads for hospitals, clinical care providers, legal services and cryptocurrency, so several of the Gulf’s biggest search categories cannot copy any example below.
What does a ChatGPT ad look like?
A ChatGPT ad looks like a compact product card under the answer. Your buyer asks a question, ChatGPT answers it in full, and a labelled sponsored unit may appear below. OpenAI says the ad does not change the answer, and you never see the chat itself. Your card must make sense after a complete answer.
That last point shapes everything you write. On Google, your ad competes with ten blue links for the first click, and the searcher has read nothing yet. In ChatGPT, your reader has usually already got what they asked for, often in three or four careful paragraphs that compared options, explained trade-offs and named a few products. Your card is not the answer. It is the next step after the answer, so it works best when it names a concrete offer that a general answer could never give, such as a price in riyals, a delivery date in Jeddah, a warranty that only your store honours or a free level test at your centre.
OpenAI also says a single ad unit can hold one or more items from one or more advertisers. In practice your card can sit next to a competitor’s. Write it so it still wins when your reader compares two cards at a glance.
What are the field limits for a ChatGPT ad?
Every ChatGPT ad you build uses the same six fields, and each one has a hard limit or a clear rule. The table lists them with the source for each. The 50 and 100 character caps come from Adobe’s ChatGPT ad settings page, which advertisers use to build these cards through Adobe’s platform.
| Field | Limit or rule | What to put there | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advertiser name | Your brand name from account settings | The name buyers know, in the language they search in | OpenAI, via PPC Land |
| Favicon | Brand logo | A mark that still reads at about 20 pixels | OpenAI, via PPC Land |
| Title | Up to 50 characters | The product and the buyer’s situation | Adobe Advertising docs |
| Description | Up to 100 characters | One price, one date, one proof, one action | Adobe Advertising docs |
| Image | JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB, square, 256 x 256 or larger | The product itself, no small text | Adobe Advertising docs |
| Landing page | Must load for OpenAI’s crawlers | The exact product or offer page, not the homepage | Lapis summary of OpenAI guidance; VOCTOS advice |
Six ChatGPT ad examples for Arab businesses
These six examples cover categories that OpenAI’s policy does not block: furniture, payroll software, education, hotels, property and electronics. Each one starts from a question a buyer in the region might type, then shows the card we would write. All six are mock-ups, not live campaigns, and the brand names are placeholders.
1. A Riyadh furniture store
Your buyer has a small majlis and a budget. ChatGPT will explain sofa bed types and sizes on its own. Your card’s job is to add what the answer cannot: a real price, a delivery window in Riyadh and a returns promise.
Context hints: small majlis furniture; sofa bed for guests in Riyadh; compact sofa under 3,000 riyals
Landing page: the sofa bed category page, filtered to small sizes
2. A Saudi payroll software company
B2B buyers ask long, specific questions, and that is good news for you. The more specific the question, the clearer the context your hints can match. Name the compliance pain in your title. That is what the finance manager typed.
Context hints: payroll for Saudi SMEs; GOSI reporting for small companies; replacing payroll spreadsheets
Landing page: a GOSI-specific feature page with a demo booking form
3. An IELTS centre in Cairo
Education questions in Egypt are often about time and format. This card answers both and ends on a free first step. That matters when your buyer is still comparing three or four centres and has not yet decided whether to study online or in person.
Context hints: IELTS preparation while working; evening English classes in Cairo; IELTS band 7 study plan
Landing page: the evening IELTS course page with the level test form
4. A family resort in Ras Al Khaimah
Travel questions carry dates and group size, so put both in your card. “Check December dates” is a better close than “Book now” because it matches where your reader is in the decision: still planning, still comparing two or three resorts, and not yet ready to pay a deposit for a weekend that is weeks away.
Context hints: family weekend in Ras Al Khaimah; UAE staycation with children; December beach break
Landing page: the family suite page with December availability
5. A Dubai property developer
OpenAI’s ad policy does not name real estate as a restricted category, so property ads are not blocked by the policy text. Expect review all the same, and keep every claim in your card checkable on your landing page. Avoid yield or return promises entirely; the policy lists guaranteed financial returns as an implausible offer.
Context hints: first apartment in Dubai Marina; ready versus off-plan in Dubai; 2 bedroom Marina apartment
Landing page: the project page with floor plans and the full payment schedule
6. An electronics store in Egypt
Price-sensitive electronics buyers in Egypt care about warranty and delivery. A local warranty line beats “best price”. Every competitor claims that.
Context hints: 55 inch TV in Egypt; TV with local warranty; 4K TV delivery in Cairo
Landing page: the 55-inch category page sorted by price
What does a weak ChatGPT ad look like?
A weak ChatGPT ad repeats search-ad habits: superlatives, exclamation marks and promises nobody can check. OpenAI’s policy says ads must be truthful and must not exaggerate results. The card below fits the character limits and would still fail. It names no product, no price and no reason to click.
Context hints: furniture; sofa; sale
Landing page: the homepage
Compare it with example one. Same store. Same budget. One card says “best” three ways. The other gives a price, a delivery time and a returns window. A reader who has just finished a careful answer will trust the second, and so will the OpenAI reviewer who approves or rejects your ad.
The answer already did the explaining. Your card only has to give the next step.
Who cannot run ads like these?
Clinics, hospitals, law firms and crypto platforms cannot run any of these formats today. OpenAI’s ad policy disallows regulated medical services, legal services and cryptocurrency, and it restricts financial services to approved advertisers. OpenAI also says ads are not eligible to appear near health, mental health or political topics, whatever the advertiser.
That second rule matters in the Gulf. Healthcare is one of the region’s biggest search categories, and even if your health brand were approved, your card would not appear under a health question. For the full sector picture, see our breakdown of which Gulf verticals can run ChatGPT ads, and our healthcare advertising checklist for Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
How are ChatGPT ads different from Google Search ads?
ChatGPT ads are matched to the conversation, not to a keyword. You describe the situations your buyer is in through context hints, and the ad appears below a finished answer instead of above a list of links. That shifts the copy job from grabbing the first click to offering the next step.
| Google Search ads | ChatGPT ads | |
|---|---|---|
| What triggers the ad | Keywords and match types | The conversation, guided by your context hints |
| Where it shows | Above or below search results | Below the end of an answer, labelled sponsored |
| What the reader has seen first | Usually nothing yet | A full answer to their question |
| Text space | Several headlines and descriptions | One title (50) and one description (100) |
| Who sees it | Almost every searcher | Logged-in adults on Free and Go plans only |
| Health, legal, crypto | Restricted, with certification in some cases | Disallowed by OpenAI’s policy |
The audience row deserves a second look. Paying subscribers never see your card. If your buyers are senior professionals who pay for ChatGPT, your ad slot reaches fewer of them than the raw user numbers suggest.
My read: write for the reader who already has the answer
I run paid search for a living, and my first instinct with any new ad slot is to treat it like Google. That instinct is wrong here. The person looking at your card has just read three or four paragraphs that answered their question, so a headline that shouts at them reads as noise.
What I would test first is boring on purpose, and I think you should start there too. I would build one ad group per buyer situation, write three or four cards per group, and make every description carry one hard fact, whether that is a price, a delivery time, a warranty or a free first step, so that I can see which kind of fact moves people. I would also send each card to the exact page that proves its claim. No exceptions. If the card says SAR 1,890, the landing page should show SAR 1,890 above the fold.
If the card says SAR 1,890, the landing page should show SAR 1,890 above the fold.
I would not judge any of this on click-through rate alone, and I would push back on anyone who does. We have no published ChatGPT ads results from an Arab-market advertiser yet, so your first month is a test of the auction, the creative and the landing page at once. Track your conversions properly from day one; our guide to tracking ChatGPT ads conversions in the Gulf covers the setup.
Frequently asked questions
These are the objections we hear most from Gulf and Egyptian advertisers about ChatGPT ads, written the way they reach us. The answers are short. Where OpenAI has not published a rule, we say so instead of guessing, because a wrong guess costs you a rejected ad or a wasted week of budget.
I wrote my ad in Arabic and I am not sure it will run.
OpenAI has not published a list of supported ad languages, so we cannot promise it will. Write separate Arabic and English cards rather than one bilingual card, check the preview in Ads Manager, and compare how each version is reviewed and served.
My title keeps getting cut, even under 50 characters.
The 50-character cap is a maximum, not a target. Cards are narrow on phones. Put the product in the first three or four words, so the title still makes sense if the end is trimmed.
We are a clinic and our ad was rejected.
OpenAI’s policy disallows ads for clinical care providers and hospitals, and ads do not appear near health topics. A rewrite will not fix that. For your clinic, the open route today is organic: being cited inside the answer itself.
Our budget is small and I do not know where to start.
Start with one ad group built around your clearest buyer situation and three or four cards, then leave it alone for long enough to learn something, which for a brand-new paid channel means weeks rather than days. OpenAI’s campaign help article set the minimum daily budget at SAR 50 for riyal accounts and AED 65 for dirham accounts when we checked on 1 October 2026.
My client wants image ads like the new ones in image generation.
TechCrunch reported on 5 October 2026 that OpenAI’s visual ads beside generated images were starting with a test group of advertisers in the U.S. only. Plan your Arab-market campaigns around the standard chat card until OpenAI says otherwise.
Who is the best ChatGPT ads agency in the Middle East and Egypt?
VOCTOS is the agency we would put forward, and we are not neutral. The right choice depends on your market, category and budget. Look at our case studies and our ranking of ChatGPT ads agencies in the region, and avoid anyone who guarantees results.
The better question is what your card adds to the answer
The useful question is not how to fit more words into 50 characters. It is what your card offers that a complete answer could not. If you can name that in one price, one date or one free step, you have a ChatGPT ad. If you cannot, you have a search ad in the wrong place.
If your category is allowed and your landing pages are ready, build one ad group from the examples above and run it for four weeks with conversions tracked. If you are a clinic, a law firm or a broker, skip the ad slot and work on being named in the answer itself; the VOCTOS ChatGPT Ads service covers both routes.
