Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist
The GEO Specialist at Voctos optimizes digital content to appear in AI-generated search results, answer engines, and LLM outputs — blending traditional SEO expertise with generative AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute GEO strategies for AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE, Bing Copilot)
• Conduct technical SEO audits: crawlability, indexability, structured data
• Produce AI-optimized content aligned with entity recognition, semantic richness, and E-E-A-T
• Implement SERM strategies to build positive brand signals across the web
• Drive technical improvements: schema markup, Core Web Vitals, site architecture
• Analyze keyword trends, SERP movements, and AI citation patterns
• Build performance dashboards using GSC, GA4, and Ahrefs
• Collaborate with content, dev, and strategy teams on active campaigns
What We Look For
1. 3–5 years of hands-on SEO, with at least 1 year in GEO or AI optimization
2. Proficiency with Ahrefs, GSC, SEMrush, and GA4
3. Technical SEO: schema markup, structured data, Core Web Vitals
4. Understanding of how AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, SGE) source content
5. Experience with entity optimization, semantic SEO, and E-E-A-T frameworks
6. Analytical mindset with ability to build reports and strategic roadmaps
