Social Media Optimization Manager
As an SMO Manager at Voctos, you will lead the social media presence of our clients across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). Your work goes beyond posting content — you are responsible for building brand identity, managing online reputation, and driving measurable engagement that translates into business outcomes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with each client's business goals
- Planning, producing, and scheduling content across multiple platforms with platform-specific optimization
- Monitoring social signals and integrating GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) principles to ensure brand visibility in AI-driven search results
- Applying SERM (Search Engine Reputation Management) tactics to protect and enhance brand presence across digital touchpoints
- Collaborating with the SEO and content teams to align social signals with organic search performance
- Running and optimizing paid social campaigns in coordination with the performance marketing team
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social KPIs including reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and conversion attribution
- Staying ahead of platform algorithm changes and AI-powered content discovery shifts
- Managing influencer outreach and partnership coordination where applicable
What We Look For
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in social media management within a digital marketing agency environment
- Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X
- Hands-on experience with SERM (Search Engine Reputation Management) and online brand monitoring
- Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and how AI models surface brand content in search results
- Ability to build and present performance reports that demonstrate business impact, not just vanity metrics
- Strategic thinker who can manage multiple client accounts with full ownership and accountability
- Experience creating editorial calendars, content briefs, and campaign plans from scratch
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including SEO, content, design, and paid media
