Prepared by: VOCTOS research team | Data collection: 21 October 2026 to 28 October 2026 | Engine: Perplexity (web search) | Full data: index-data.csv

The 30-second summary

We asked Perplexity 60 times, in Arabic, which forex brokers are the best, the most trusted and properly licensed in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt. The most mentioned broker was Capital.com in 51 of 60 answers (85%), followed by XM (80%), Pepperstone (73%), Exness (47%) and AvaTrade (47%). 9 of the 10 sources the engine cited most were comparison, review and news sites, most of them in Arabic, and 91% of all citations came from that type of site.

Key findings

  1. 66 brokers appeared across 60 answers, and the top 5 took 49% of all mentions.
  2. Pepperstone was the first broker named in 18 of 60 runs, more than any other broker.
  3. The site Perplexity cited most was arab.dailyforex.com, in 39 of 60 answers (65%).
  4. Answers about Saudi Arabia say the Capital Market Authority does not license retail forex and CFD brokers the way other markets do, and point instead to foreign licences such as FCA, ASIC and DFSA.
  5. Only 3 of 20 prompts returned the same broker list in all three runs, so the answer to the same question changes from run to run.

Brokers ranked by mention share

Mention share = answers that named the broker ÷ total answers. Average position = where the broker was first named inside the answer (1 = first broker named).

What does this mean for brokers?

  • Visibility runs through Arabic comparison sites: most of each answer is built from the sites in the table above, so an accurate, current listing on them is the shortest route into the answer.
  • Arabic licence pages for each market: licensing questions come up most often, and the answers rely on licence numbers and the regulators that issued them. A clear Arabic page for each regulator and licence number makes it easier for the engine to cite the right facts.
  • Strong English pages do not guarantee a place in the Arabic answer: the engine mostly cites Arabic sources.
  • Stay inside the regulatory framework: any content aimed at traders in Saudi Arabia must stay within what the broker’s actual licences allow.

Methodology

  • Dates: 21 October 2026 to 28 October 2026, Cairo time.
  • Engine: Perplexity, default search mode. Each run was a new, independent search, not a follow-up question.
  • Prompts: 20 Arabic prompts written the way real traders ask, covering best, trusted, licensed, comparison and beginner questions across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and the Gulf. We planned 3 runs per prompt (60 in total) and completed all 60.
  • Broker detection: Arabic and Latin names of more than 120 brokers and securities firms were matched against the answer text after removing citation markers, with a manual check of every Latin-script name in each answer.
  • Sources: the first 10 cited domains in each answer.

What this index does not prove

  • Mention share is not market share, traffic or customers, and it does not measure how a broker was described.
  • One engine and a short window (8 sessions in one week): ChatGPT and Google answers may differ, and the wording of a prompt changes the result.
  • Runs were made from a signed-in account, so the effect of personalisation cannot be ruled out completely.
  • Names written only in Arabic are detected from a fixed list, so a rarely mentioned broker may be missed.
  • The index does not rate the quality or safety of any broker and is not investment advice. Leveraged currency trading is high risk.

Frequently asked questions

What is the VOCTOS Arabic AI Visibility Index?

A monthly index that measures which companies AI answer engines name when a user asks in Arabic, and which sites they cite. The November 2026 edition covers forex brokers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt.

Which forex broker does Perplexity mention most in Arabic?

In this index sample (60 answers), Capital.com was mentioned most at 85%, followed by XM at 80% and Pepperstone at 73%.

Where does AI get its Arabic information about forex brokers?

Mostly from comparison, review and news sites, most of them in Arabic: 91% of citations in the sample came from them, and the most frequent was arab.dailyforex.com.

Does a mention in an AI answer mean a broker is licensed or safe?

No. The index measures visibility only. Always check the licence directly in the regulator’s register, such as the Saudi Capital Market Authority or the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority.

How can a broker improve its visibility in Arabic answers?

By being listed accurately on the Arabic comparison sites the engine cites, publishing a clear Arabic licence page for each market, and producing Arabic content that answers traders’ real questions, without going beyond what its licences allow.
