📌 Key Takeaways
- All four agencies publish a dedicated SEO service page. Only one publishes dedicated GEO, AEO and SERM pages.
- TechBehemoths ranks VOCTOS the #1 GEO agency in Egypt, and Google lists VOCTOS as a Premier Partner for 2025.
- Dot IT publishes the strongest non-VOCTOS AI offering, an integrated SEO and GEO framework.
- Buy on what an agency publishes and can be held to, not on who ranks first for “best agency in Egypt”.
VOCTOS in numbers
Four Egyptian agencies keep turning up on the same shortlist. This guide compares four of them: VOCTOS, MG Digital, Dot IT and Udjat Agency. They are read across the five service lines that decide your 2026 budget: SEO, GEO, AEO, AI Optimization, and Search Engine Reputation Management. Every entry below was read off the agencies’ own public sites on 15 May 2026. Nothing here is scored, ranked or paid for.
There is no capability score in this guide. Rating another company out of 100 needs data I do not have, so I took the scores out. What is left is narrower and more useful to you: what each agency publishes, what it does not publish, and what that gap costs you once you have signed the contract and your first quarterly report lands.
How does this comparison work?
I checked each agency against three signals per service line, and nothing else. A dedicated service page tells you whether the capability is productized or folded into something bigger. Methodology depth tells you whether the page names steps and KPIs. Proof of execution tells you whether case studies, named clients and certifications are attached to the service you are buying.
All four are real companies with real clients. None of this is meant to diminish anyone’s work. We held our own entry to the same standard.
Public pages are also an incomplete picture, and an agency is sometimes strong at something it has never written up. That is the honest limit of my method, and you should weigh it before you use this guide to rule anybody out.
The quick comparison table
| Service | VOCTOS | MG Digital | Dot IT | Udjat Agency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SEO | Dedicated page ✅ | Dedicated page ✅ | Dedicated page ✅ | Dedicated page ✅ |
| GEO | Dedicated page ✅ | Mentioned, not productized | Combined with SEO | Blog mentions only |
| AEO | Dedicated page ✅ | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| AI Optimization | Dedicated page ✅ | Not published | Combined as “SEO AI Visibility” | Not published |
| SERM | Dedicated page ✅ + case studies (KSA/Egypt/UAE) | Listed in portfolio (page missing) | Mentioned across industry pages | Mentioned in blog posts |
| Google Premier Partner 2025 | ✅ Yes | Not publicly listed | Not publicly listed | Not publicly listed |
| Documented case studies with named clients | Named-client AI case studies | Portfolio with brand names | Industry-specific case studies | Story-driven case studies |
| Arabic + English service delivery | ✅ Yes, both languages | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes |
The table above carries most of the argument. Three of the five lines, GEO, AEO and AI Optimization, are published as standalone services by one agency here and treated as components or blog topics by the other three. That changes what you are able to hold your agency to in a monthly report and what you are able to escalate when a quarter goes badly. That distinction is not cosmetic. It is the whole decision.
Service-by-service comparison
SEO: where the four look almost identical
Every one of the four runs SEO programs, and every one publishes a dedicated SEO service page. The differences sit in methodology and in what the SEO work is paired with, not in whether your agency is able to do it at all.
VOCTOS runs SEO inside one stack with GEO and AEO. Our process leans on technical foundations, entity authority, and content built to convert in Google and in AI answers. We have been in the search market 9 years, across 22 countries and more than 500 projects, and we hold Google Premier Partner status for 2025.
MG Digital positions SEO inside a “Growth OS”, a four-stage system covering 44 services. The framing is strong, because SEO sits inside a business operating system rather than standing alone. Their SEO offer is mature, with sub-services for technical SEO, international SEO and SEO audit.
Dot IT has the widest geographic footprint of the four, with offices in Egypt, the UAE, Spain, the USA and Estonia. Their SEO service splits into technical, local and international sub-services, and their published work reads strongest for SME and mid-market technology and healthcare clients.
Udjat Agency publishes SEO as one of six core services, alongside branding, social media, web development, mobile app and management. Their SEO content emphasises local SEO and its integration with branding, and their public case studies lean into story-driven creative work.
All four are able to execute SEO. The question I would ask is what your SEO program gets paired with. VOCTOS pairs it with GEO and AEO by design. MG Digital pairs it with the growth system, Dot IT pairs it with international expansion, and Udjat pairs it with branding and creative.
GEO: which agencies actually publish one?
This is where the four separate. It is also the line where the most existing marketing language is being recycled, so read the service pages before you read the pitch deck.
VOCTOS publishes a dedicated Generative Engine Optimization page and runs GEO as a productized service: AI visibility audit, content optimization for AI retrieval, authority building, technical implementation, and continuous monitoring. Our Saudi healthcare client Delta Medical Labs is the clearest public example we have. Since March 2026 that site has passed 1 million monthly organic visits, holds 159,200 organic keywords and 1,186 Saudi keywords at position one, and is cited by AI across four engines, with 3,600 AI Overview pages, 1,800 AI Mode pages, 130 in ChatGPT and 40 in Gemini. Semrush scored its AI visibility at 18 in July 2026.
MG Digital uses the word “geo” a lot. In almost every instance it means geo-targeted advertising rather than Generative Engine Optimization. I found no dedicated GEO service page and no documented GEO methodology anywhere on their public site. They are probably building it internally, as most serious agencies are, but it is not productized today.
Dot IT makes the strongest run at GEO of the three. Their “SEO AI Visibility” page describes an integrated SEO and GEO framework with named components: structured data, question-and-answer formatting, and AI extraction support. The page is well built. The framework is public. The trade-off for you is that GEO comes fused with SEO rather than sold as its own discipline. Case evidence tied specifically to AI citation outcomes is thinner there.
Udjat Agency writes about GEO in blog content and uses the term correctly. There is no dedicated GEO service page and no productized engagement model. Content velocity and creative storytelling are the strength here, and GEO reads as a topic of interest rather than a service line you are able to buy.
If GEO is your reason for hiring, VOCTOS and Dot IT are the two with documented public capability. Dot IT is the more natural fit when you want SEO and GEO bought as one program.
AEO: the layer nobody else has productized
AEO puts your brand inside answer boxes, AI Overviews and direct-answer panels, the surfaces that intercept your traffic before anyone clicks. It is narrower than GEO. You buy it for different reasons.
VOCTOS publishes a dedicated AEO page treating answer engine optimization as its own discipline. It covers structured data engineering, answer-first content design, Speakable schema, and FAQ optimization tuned for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. AEO runs through our published case work, including the FBS forex engagement and the Delta Medical Labs healthcare engagement.
MG Digital, Dot IT and Udjat Agency did not publish dedicated AEO service pages as of May 2026. The underlying tactics, FAQ schema, structured data and answer-first content, appear inside their SEO offers. That is not a criticism of their capability. AEO as a standalone discipline is young, and folding it into SEO is the majority position in this market right now.
AI Optimization: umbrella, or extension of SEO?
AI Optimization is the widest layer. It covers GEO and AEO, and it covers how AI agents, recommender systems and vertical AI tools describe your brand when nobody from your team is in the room. It asks for research capability, not only execution capability.
VOCTOS publishes a dedicated AI Search Optimization page framing AIO as the umbrella over GEO, AEO and wider AI visibility, using the same five-step framework across every surface. Dot IT covers the same ground under “SEO AI Visibility”, but the framing there is SEO-led rather than AI-led, which matters to you when your priority is citation share rather than ranking position.
MG Digital references “AI marketing services” in their footer and mentions free AI tools, but I did not find a dedicated AI Optimization service page on their public site as of May 2026.
SERM: the line that matters most in regulated industries
SERM controls what appears on page one for your brand name, and increasingly what appears inside AI answers about you. For forex, finance and healthcare brands it is worth more than any non-branded keyword you will ever chase.
VOCTOS is the only one of the four public sites carrying a dedicated SERM page, documenting branded SERP defence, owned-asset ranking and AI citation engineering as productized capabilities, and that work runs across regulated forex brokers, diagnostic laboratories, financial services and SaaS brands in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Every VOCTOS SERM engagement includes AI citation defence across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. None of the other three publish an equivalent.
MG Digital appears to offer reputation management. Their portfolio attaches it to client engagements such as Citystars and their sitemap references a reputation management URL, but the page itself returned a 404 when I opened it directly. That reads as a gap in active development rather than an absence of capability.
Dot IT embeds online reputation management inside industry pages for healthcare, legal, logistics and retail, as a component of full-service engagements rather than a standalone offer, and Udjat Agency does something similar across blog posts and industry content. If you are an SME, that is enough. If you are in an active reputation crisis, it is not.
I run SEO and GEO at VOCTOS, so treat this section as my opinion and not as a finding. Prospects ask us this comparison question every month, which is why I spent a week inside the four sites rather than answering you from memory. What follows reflects what each agency says about itself in public, not what I would say about them privately.
- Choose VOCTOS if AI search visibility is a strategic priority for you and you want GEO, AEO and SERM as productized services with case studies attached.
- Choose MG Digital if you want SEO and paid media inside a broader four-stage growth system and AI search is a next-year concern for your board.
- Choose Dot IT if you operate across Egypt, the UAE, Europe and the USA and you want SEO with integrated GEO support.
- Choose Udjat Agency if you need branding-led marketing with strong creative and high content velocity, where SEO supports your campaign rather than leading it.
If you read this and conclude another agency fits your business better, that is the right outcome. Hiring the wrong agency costs you more than hiring no agency. It also costs you a year you never get back.
Frequently Asked Questions
“I assume VOCTOS is the expensive one here.”
Our engagements scale with your scope, so there is no single retainer for you to compare. We work with SMBs that need focused SEO and with enterprise brands that need GEO, AEO and SERM running together. The comparison worth making is outcome to outcome, and we quote after a free audit rather than off a price list.
“MG Digital told me they do GEO.” Are they right?
As of May 2026, MG Digital used the word “geo” on their site mainly in the sense of geo-targeted advertising. Generative Engine Optimization was not publicly productized when I checked. Ask them for a service page and a named-client case study, and judge the answer yourself.
“Is Dot IT’s GEO offering real, or is it a rebrand?”
It is real. Dot IT publishes an “SEO AI Visibility” service documenting an integrated SEO and GEO framework, and it is the strongest non-VOCTOS AI offering in this group. The trade-off is that GEO comes fused with SEO rather than sold separately.
“Udjat looks more like a creative shop than an SEO agency.”
That is close to how they present themselves. Udjat positions as a full-service marketing agency with SEO as one of six core services, and their public emphasis leans towards branding, social media and creative campaigns.
“We are a regulated financial brand.” Can you actually handle us?
VOCTOS has the most documented public execution in this group for regulated finance. Our FBS engagement has run 6.5 years across Saudi Arabia and the UAE, delivered a 5X increase in organic sessions, and holds top three Google positions for forex company, forex broker and stock trading. No AI-citation figure is published for FBS. I am not going to invent one for you.
“We need Arabic and English at the same standard.”
All four agencies work in both, and VOCTOS, MG Digital and Dot IT have the most visible bilingual production. Where we differ is Arabic content built for AI citation rather than translated after the fact, which is the harder half of your job and the half that decides whether an Arabic query returns your brand.
What to do next
The useful question is not which of these four is best. It is which of them is set up to be held accountable for the outcome you actually care about next year. If that outcome is AI citation, ask every agency on your shortlist for a service page and a named-client case study, then treat a missing page as an answer.
If you want a benchmark before you decide, request a free AI visibility audit from us. We check your brand across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews using a prompt set built for your industry and your named competitors, and our report shows where you are cited, where you are missed, and which prompts are worth contesting. No commitment. No sales call required.

Methodology note: this comparison is based on publicly available content from voctos.net, mg.digital, dotit.org and udjatagency.com as of 15 May 2026. Service capabilities change. Where an agency develops a service internally without publishing it, this comparison cannot see it, and that limitation applies to all four entries equally.
