Google Ads CPC in Saudi Arabia and the UAE: 78 Keywords Across 7 Sectors (Semrush, September 2026)

Estimated Saudi Google Ads clicks in our dataset cost $0.23 to $4.99. We pulled 78 keywords from Semrush on 1 October 2026 (the September 2026 snapshot) across seven sectors in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Saudi furniture moving had the highest median estimated CPC, $4.20 (SAR 15.75), and car rental the lowest, $0.30. Dubai’s English dental and legal terms peaked at $12.21 and $14.04.
What does a Google Ads click cost in Saudi Arabia and the UAE?
Across the 58 Saudi keywords in our Semrush pull, the median estimated CPC is $1.16 (SAR 4.35). Across the 20 Dubai keywords, it is $6.10 (AED 22.38), about 5.3 times higher. Inside Saudi Arabia, sector drives the spread: the moving median is 14 times the car rental median.
The table below summarises all 78 keywords by sector, market and query language. Every CPC is a Semrush estimate in US dollars, converted at the fixed pegs explained in the method section. Read the totals as the demand behind these specific phrases only.
| Sector | Market, query language | Terms | Median CPC (USD) | Median CPC (local) | Highest-CPC keyword | Total monthly searches of listed terms |

Median is the middle value of each group; with an even number of terms it is the midpoint of the two middle values. Local-currency medians are converted from the unrounded dollar median, and the search totals are simple sums of Semrush average monthly searches, so two spelling variants of one phrase both count.
How we built this dataset
We pulled every figure here from the Semrush Keyword Magic Tool on 1 October 2026, using the Saudi Arabia (sa) and UAE (ae) databases. Semrush marked the data as updated one month earlier, so we treat it as the September 2026 snapshot. Arabic-language queries are shown as English translations. No figure in this article comes from a live Google Ads account.
Semrush defines search volume as the average number of monthly searches over the past 12 months, with mobile and desktop combined, and refreshes it monthly (Semrush Knowledge Base). It describes CPC as the amount advertisers pay Google for a click on an ad shown for that keyword (Semrush Keyword Overview documentation).
For currency conversions we use the official fixed pegs. The Saudi Central Bank holds the riyal at an official 3.75 per US dollar (SAMA). The Central Bank of the UAE buys dirhams at 3.673 and sells at 3.672 per dollar (CBUAE), so we use the 3.6725 midpoint.
We kept only terms where Semrush returned a CPC. That rule excludes broader agency phrases such as “marketing company” (3,600 monthly searches), which came back with no CPC value.
Furniture moving: the most expensive Saudi sector
Furniture moving is the most expensive Saudi sector in our set. The 12 moving terms carry a median estimated CPC of $4.20 (SAR 15.75) and add up to 193,400 average monthly searches. “furniture moving Riyadh” tops every Saudi keyword we pulled, at $4.99, or SAR 18.71, a click.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “furniture moving” | 40,500 | 3.73 | 13.99 |
| “furniture moving company” | 22,200 | 3.73 | 13.99 |
| “furniture moving Riyadh” | 18,100 | 4.99 | 18.71 |
| “moving company in Dammam (standard spelling)” | 14,800 | 3.41 | 12.79 |
| “moving company in Dammam (variant spelling)” | 14,800 | 3.41 | 12.79 |
| “moving company in Jeddah” | 14,800 | 3.86 | 14.48 |
| “moving company in Riyadh (standard spelling)” | 12,100 | 4.20 | 15.75 |
| “moving company in Riyadh (variant spelling)” | 12,100 | 4.20 | 15.75 |
| “furniture moving in Dammam” | 12,100 | 4.59 | 17.21 |
| “furniture moving Jeddah” | 12,100 | 4.24 | 15.90 |
| “dyna (light truck) furniture moving in Riyadh” | 9,900 | 4.53 | 16.99 |
| “moving company in Makkah” | 9,900 | 4.23 | 15.86 |
The pattern is consistent. Eight of the 10 city-named moving terms are priced above the $3.73 generic head term, and all four Riyadh terms sit between $4.20 and $4.99. The exception is the Dammam company pair at $3.41.
Two pairs of rows deserve a second look. In each, the Arabic word for “company” is typed with a different final letter, yet each pair shows identical volume and identical CPC. We explain why we treat that as a data limitation in our analysis of how Arabic spelling variants split Saudi search demand.
Dental clinics in Saudi Arabia
Saudi dental demand is concentrated in one phrase. “dental clinic” draws 135,000 average monthly searches at an estimated $1.32 (SAR 4.95), while the other 11 Arabic dental terms together add 10,600. The median across all 12 Arabic terms is $1.22 (SAR 4.56), and English Riyadh queries are cheaper, at $0.73 to $0.84.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “dental clinic” | 135,000 | 1.32 | 4.95 |
| “nearest dental clinic” | 1,600 | 1.04 | 3.90 |
| “children’s dental clinic” | 1,000 | 1.16 | 4.35 |
| “dental clinic Riyadh” | 1,000 | 1.77 | 6.64 |
| “dental clinic near me” | 1,000 | 1.08 | 4.05 |
| “cheapest dental clinic” | 880 | 1.20 | 4.50 |
| “best dental clinic” | 880 | 1.23 | 4.61 |
| “best dental clinic in Riyadh” | 880 | 1.34 | 5.03 |
| “best dental clinic in Jeddah” | 880 | 1.05 | 3.94 |
| “dental clinic Dammam” | 880 | 1.18 | 4.43 |
| “orthodontics clinic” | 880 | 1.23 | 4.61 |
| “best dental clinic in Riyadh (second phrasing)” | 720 | 1.25 | 4.69 |
| “dentist in riyadh” (English query) | 390 | 0.84 | 3.15 |
| “best dentist in riyadh” (English query) | 170 | 0.84 | 3.15 |
| “pediatric dentist riyadh” (English query) | 40 | 0.73 | 2.74 |
The Riyadh-named Arabic term is the priciest dental keyword at $1.77 (SAR 6.64), a third above the national head term. The three English Riyadh queries total only 600 monthly searches, so they work as a side channel at most.
Notice the spelling too. The 135,000-search head term types the word for “teeth” without the hamza that formal Arabic puts on its first letter. Clinics that also want organic reach for these queries can start from our step-by-step healthcare SEO strategy guide.
Lawyers in Saudi Arabia
Saudi legal keywords sit in the middle of our set. The six lawyer terms have a median estimated CPC of $1.73 (SAR 6.49) and 60,700 combined monthly searches. “lawyer” alone accounts for 33,100 searches at $2.67, and “lawyer Jeddah” is the costliest at $3.50 (SAR 13.13).
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “lawyer” | 33,100 | 2.67 | 10.01 |
| “Saudi Bar Association” (navigational) | 12,100 | 1.16 | 4.35 |
| “female lawyer” | 6,600 | 1.54 | 5.78 |
| “the lawyer’s office” | 5,400 | 1.92 | 7.20 |
| “lawyer Jeddah” | 1,900 | 3.50 | 13.13 |
| “lawyer’s number for a free consultation, WhatsApp” | 1,600 | 1.51 | 5.66 |
Not every high-volume legal term is a lead. The 12,100 monthly searches for the Saudi Bar Association are a navigational query for the professional body itself, which makes that phrase a candidate for your negative list. Its $1.16 estimate is the lowest of the six Saudi lawyer terms.
The free-consultation WhatsApp query (1,600 searches, $1.51) tells you something about intent. The wording asks for a phone number and a free first conversation, so if your firm does not offer that, the click is cheap but the lead is unlikely.
Car rental and car insurance: high volume, low CPC
Saudi car rental and car insurance are the cheap-click, high-volume end of the set. “car rental” draws 201,000 monthly searches at $0.34 (SAR 1.28). The nine rental terms total 270,000 searches at a $0.30 median, and the eight insurance terms total 53,000 at a $0.60 median.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “car rental (standard spelling)” | 201,000 | 0.34 | 1.28 |
| “car rental office” | 27,100 | 0.27 | 1.01 |
| “car rental offices” | 12,100 | 0.31 | 1.16 |
| “car rental shop” | 8,100 | 0.26 | 0.98 |
| “car rental (typed without the hamza)” | 5,400 | 0.34 | 1.28 |
| “car rental companies” | 5,400 | 0.30 | 1.13 |
| “car rental Jeddah” | 4,400 | 0.23 | 0.86 |
| “car rental in Riyadh” | 3,600 | 0.46 | 1.73 |
| “car rental Riyadh” | 2,900 | 0.29 | 1.09 |
Small wording changes move the price in this sector. “car rental in Riyadh” is estimated at $0.46, while “car rental Riyadh”, the same request without “in”, sits at $0.29. Bid on each phrase separately.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “car insurance (standard spelling)” | 22,200 | 0.60 | 2.25 |
| “car insurance (typed without the hamza)” | 12,100 | 0.61 | 2.29 |
| “cheapest car insurance” | 6,600 | 0.57 | 2.14 |
| “third-party car insurance” | 5,400 | 0.59 | 2.21 |
| “best car insurance company” | 1,900 | 0.54 | 2.03 |
| “cheapest car insurance company” | 1,600 | 0.54 | 2.03 |
| “Tawuniya car insurance” (insurer brand) | 1,600 | 1.03 | 3.86 |
| “cheap car insurance” | 1,600 | 0.62 | 2.33 |
Insurance pricing is tight: seven of the eight terms fall between $0.54 and $0.62. The outlier is the query naming the insurer Tawuniya, at $1.03. A low CPC says nothing about lead cost, which depends on a conversion rate that Semrush does not estimate.
Apartments for sale and SEO services: thin data
Two sectors returned thin data in our pull. The five apartments-for-sale terms total 7,210 monthly searches at a $0.33 median (SAR 1.24). The three Arabic SEO-services terms with a CPC total 350 searches at a $1.61 median, led by “SEO services” at $2.38, or SAR 8.93 a click.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “apartments for sale” | 3,600 | 0.32 | 1.20 |
| “apartments for sale in Riyadh” | 1,300 | 0.32 | 1.20 |
| “apartments for sale Jeddah” | 1,000 | 0.33 | 1.24 |
| “freehold apartments for sale” | 720 | 0.33 | 1.24 |
| “apartments for sale Riyadh” | 590 | 0.41 | 1.54 |
Our property pull covered only the generic “apartments for sale” family. It left out district names and portal brands, so treat 7,210 as a floor for property demand.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (SAR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “best SEO company” | 170 | 1.61 | 6.04 |
| “SEO expert” | 110 | 1.40 | 5.25 |
| “SEO services” | 70 | 2.38 | 8.93 |
The SEO terms are included because buyers of marketing services are also searchers. At 70 to 170 monthly searches each, they are too small to carry a campaign alone.
Why do Dubai clicks cost so much more than Saudi clicks?
Semrush does not say why, so we report the gap without a cause. In our data, the query “dentist dubai” is estimated at $12.21 (AED 44.84), 9.3 times the $1.32 Saudi head term for dental clinics. “lawyers in dubai”, at $6.73, is 2.5 times the Arabic query “lawyer” in Saudi Arabia. The priciest term in the set is “criminal lawyers in dubai” ($14.04).
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “dentist dubai” (English query) | 2,900 | 12.21 | 44.84 |
| “pediatric dentist dubai” (English query) | 1,300 | 9.09 | 33.38 |
| “best dentist in dubai” (English query) | 1,000 | 9.11 | 33.46 |
| “good dentist in dubai” (English query) | 590 | 6.90 | 25.34 |
| “general dentist in dubai” (English query) | 480 | 6.10 | 22.40 |
| “best pediatric dentist in dubai” (English query) | 320 | 6.09 | 22.37 |
| “dental clinic Dubai” | 480 | 3.69 | 13.55 |
| “cheapest dental clinic in Dubai” | 110 | 2.94 | 10.80 |
| “best dental clinic in Dubai” | 110 | 3.04 | 11.16 |
| “24-hour dental clinic in Dubai” | 30 | 3.60 | 13.22 |
Inside Dubai, Arabic queries cost less but carry far less volume. The six English dental terms have an $8.00 median across 6,590 searches; the four Arabic ones have a $3.32 median across 730.
| Search query (Arabic, translated) | Avg. monthly searches | CPC (USD) | CPC (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|
| “lawyers in dubai” (English query) | 2,900 | 6.73 | 24.72 |
| “best real estate lawyer dubai” (English query) | 1,600 | 7.12 | 26.15 |
| “criminal lawyers in dubai” (English query) | 590 | 14.04 | 51.56 |
| “divorce lawyers in dubai” (English query) | 590 | 7.30 | 26.81 |
| “family lawyers in dubai” (English query) | 590 | 8.06 | 29.60 |
| “personal status (family law) lawyer in Dubai” | 590 | 5.24 | 19.24 |
| “lawyer in Dubai” | 480 | 4.59 | 16.86 |
| “lawyers in Dubai” | 480 | 4.59 | 16.86 |
| “lawyer Dubai” | 170 | 5.46 | 20.05 |
| “best lawyer in Dubai” | 140 | 4.08 | 14.98 |
Legal shows the same split: a $7.30 English median against $4.59 in Arabic. Starting September 2026, Google is removing the campaign language setting for Search and matching ads on the language of the ad itself (Google Ads Help). A bilingual Dubai account therefore needs Arabic ad copy to reach those cheaper Arabic queries.

What is a Semrush CPC estimate, and what is it not?
A Semrush CPC is a modelled average of what advertisers pay Google for a click on ads shown for that keyword. It does not tell you the price you will pay, because Google sets each actual CPC inside a live auction, using your bid, your ad quality, Ad Rank thresholds, competition and the searcher’s context.
Google’s own definition is precise. You pay only what is needed to clear the Ad Rank thresholds and beat the advertiser directly below you. Clicks above the organic results often cost more than clicks below them (Google Ads Help, actual CPC). Ad quality in that auction includes expected clickthrough rate, ad relevance and landing page experience.
Four things make your number differ from ours:
- Quality. A stronger ad and landing page lower the price of the same position.
- Match type. A broad match keyword enters auctions for many queries beyond the phrase listed here, each with its own price.
- Time. Semrush volume is a 12-month average; auctions shift by season, weekday and hour.
- Bidding strategy. Smart Bidding sets a different bid for each auction, so your average CPC reflects the auctions it chose.
We could not find a published CPC methodology in Semrush’s knowledge base comparable to its volume method. Use these figures as a relative price map between sectors and languages.
How do you turn a CPC into a monthly budget?
Divide your budget by the CPC to get clicks, then multiply clicks by a conversion rate to get leads. The formula is clicks = budget ÷ CPC, and leads = clicks × conversion rate. The CPC can come from this dataset, but the conversion rate has to come from your own tracking.
The table below is an example only, and it assumes a budget of 10,000 in local currency and a conversion rate of 5% to 10%. That range is hypothetical and chosen only to show the arithmetic; it is not VOCTOS data, a benchmark or a forecast.
| Keyword (CPC) | Budget | Clicks | Leads at hypothetical 5% | Leads at hypothetical 10% | Monthly searches (ceiling check) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| “furniture moving Riyadh” (SAR 18.71) | SAR 10,000 | 534 | 27 | 53 | 18,100 |
| “dental clinic” (SAR 4.95) | SAR 10,000 | 2,020 | 101 | 202 | 135,000 |
| dentist dubai (AED 44.84) | AED 10,000 | 223 | 11 | 22 | 2,900 |
| “car rental Jeddah” (SAR 0.86) | SAR 10,000 | 11,594 | 580 | 1,159 | 4,400 |
The last row is the trap. At SAR 0.86, the budget buys 11,594 clicks, but the phrase gets 4,400 searches a month. When the formula promises more clicks than searches exist, demand caps you before budget does.
For Riyadh moving, the same hypothetical range implies a cost per lead of SAR 187 to SAR 374. Compare that with your average job value before you approve a single riyal.
Our read
We read this dataset as a price map for comparing sectors. The useful signal is relative: Saudi moving clicks cost about 14 times car rental clicks, and Dubai English clicks cost several times Saudi Arabic ones. Any agency that quotes you a fixed CPC before seeing your conversion data is guessing.
Our position by sector is direct. In rental and insurance, wasted volume is a bigger risk than click price, so spend your effort on negatives and spelling variants. In moving, build campaigns by city, because the city terms carry the premium. In Dubai, test Arabic ads, accepting that they cost less and reach fewer people.
Paid search is also no longer the only paid channel in the region, as our review of ChatGPT ads agencies in the Middle East sets out. Demand you rank for organically has no per-click cost. Our SEO work for Delta Medical Labs reached 1,186 keywords at #1 in Saudi Arabia (case study, engagement since March 2026). VOCTOS has no published paid-media results, and we will not invent any.
FAQ
Why is my actual CPC higher than the Semrush number?
Semrush shows a modelled average for one phrase, while your account pays auction prices for every query your keywords match. Broad match, top-of-page positions, a weak landing page or aggressive competitors on your city terms all raise the figure. Compare like with like: one exact phrase, one month, same location and device mix.
How much should I spend on Google Ads in Saudi Arabia per month?
Start from the cost of a customer, not a click. Decide how much one lead is worth, divide by your measured conversion rate to get a ceiling CPC, then check that the keywords you want sit under it. If you have no conversion data yet, budget a short test to measure it first.
Is Google Ads cheaper in Arabic or English in Dubai?
In our September 2026 Semrush data, Arabic was cheaper per click in both sectors. Dubai Arabic dental terms had a $3.32 median against $8.00 for English, and legal terms $4.59 against $7.30. Arabic volume was far smaller, though: 730 dental searches against 6,590 in English.
Are Riyadh furniture moving clicks worth $5 each?
Only if your numbers say so. At the $4.99 Semrush estimate (SAR 18.71), a SAR 10,000 budget buys about 534 clicks. Whether that pays depends on how many become booked jobs and what each job earns. Run the formula with your own conversion rate and job value before bidding.
How often do these Semrush numbers change?
Semrush refreshes its search volumes monthly, and each volume is a 12-month average, so short spikes are smoothed out. Google prices every click at auction time, so live costs move daily. Treat this September 2026 snapshot as a planning baseline and recheck it before any large budget decision.
Is your sector expensive, or is your funnel leaking?
The question behind any CPC table is what a customer costs in Riyadh or Dubai. That depends on your conversion rate as much as on the auction. A $0.30 click that never converts is dearer than a $4.99 click that books a job.
So there are two paths. If you track conversions reliably, put your rate into the formula above, set a ceiling CPC per sector and city, and bid only where the keyword sits below it. If you do not, fix conversion tracking and landing pages first, because no CPC table will rescue a campaign you cannot measure.
Not sure which side your account is on? Send us your keyword list and current cost per lead, and we will tell you whether the problem is the bids or the funnel.
