Top GEO Agencies in 2026: MENA, Arabic Search and the Numbers Behind the Claims

By Beshoy Adel, Head of GEO/SEO at VOCTOS, Updated August 2026

Most GEO agency lists rank on brand recall, not on evidence. They recycle the same handful of names, define GEO as optimizing for AI search, and stop there. This page covers 6 agencies and publishes a score for none of them. This one differs in a single respect: it is published by an interested party, and says so on the first screen. VOCTOS publishes this page, so we do not rank ourselves, we do not score anyone else, and we do not pretend to have read another agency’s client dashboard. What you get instead is a description of what each firm publicly does, our own client numbers with the case study they came from, and a checklist you can run on any of us.

We also cover the part most GEO agency lists leave out, which is the MENA market. If your business operates in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or Jordan, and you’re asking an AI engine a question in Arabic, you need a fundamentally different GEO strategy than a B2B SaaS company in San Francisco. A list assembled for English-only markets will not answer that question for you.

What Is GEO in 2026? (The Definition Has Evolved)

GEO, Generative Engine Optimization, was coined in 2023 to describe the practice of optimizing content to appear in AI-generated answers. The 2023 definition focused on Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE). The 2026 reality is far broader and more technically complex.

GEO: How the Discipline Has Evolved (2023 → 2026)

Dimension GEO in 2023 GEO in 2026
Target Engines Google SGE only Google AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot
Primary Signal Backlink authority Entity authority + citation-worthy formatting + E-E-A-T depth
Measurement Ranking positions Citation count, AI Overview appearances, zero-click brand mentions
Content Format Keyword-dense articles Structured answers, FAQ schemas, authoritative summaries, data tables
Language Scope English-only Multi-language including Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese
MENA Readiness Not applicable Critical, and Arabic AI answers remain thinner than English ones

The agencies that built their GEO practice in 2023 and haven’t updated their methodology are selling you a strategy that’s already two algorithm generations behind. The best GEO agencies in 2026 optimize for traditional search, AI citation engines and zero-click brand presence at the same time. They can put attribution data behind it, rather than an anecdote about getting mentioned once in an AI answer.

💡
What We Can Show, And What We Cannot

We do not have a defensible figure for the Arabic share of AI search volume in MENA, and we are not going to invent one. What we can put a source against is our own Arabic work. Delta Medical Labs, an Arabic-language medical lab in Saudi Arabia, holds 1,186 keywords at position one on Google in Saudi Arabia and scored 18 on Semrush AI Visibility in July 2026, the highest of the private Saudi labs in that comparison. Esaal, an Arabic and English telehealth service, has 753 pages cited by AI engines across twelve months.

How We Compared These Agencies

We compared agencies on six dimensions that decide whether a brand gets cited in an AI answer. No agency on this page carries a score, ours included, because we have no access to anybody else’s client reporting and a citation-volume score for a competitor would be a guess wearing the clothes of a measurement. So the entries describe what each firm publicly does, then name the gap.

Scoring Criterion Weight What We Looked At
AI Citation Capability 30% Publicly documented client citations in Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity
Entity & Schema Architecture 20% Knowledge Graph entity builds, JSON-LD breadth, structured data coverage
Content Authority Framework 20% E-E-A-T implementation depth, author authority signals, citation-worthy formatting
Measurement & Reporting 15% AI citation tracking dashboards, GEO-specific KPIs, attribution beyond rankings
Multilingual GEO Capability 10% Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese GEO, native capability vs. machine translation
Documented Results 5% Verifiable case studies with before/after citation counts and traffic impact

The Top GEO Agencies in 2026: Full Rankings

VOCTOS: Arabic and English GEO, Run From Cairo

HQ: Cairo, Egypt | Founded: 2017 | Google Premier Partner 2025 | Clutch Top SEO Company Egypt 2026

Read this entry as a disclosure rather than a verdict, because VOCTOS publishes the page. So we have left ourselves unscored and unranked, alongside everyone else on it. What is checkable is short: an in-house team in Cairo since 2017, 9 or more years in search, and 500 or more projects across 22 or more countries. Arabic and English GEO are run by native Arabic speakers here, not by translation. Our earliest documented AI-citation work is Eduverse, 2024 to 2026, and Delta Medical Labs, March 2026 to the present. Anything earlier than that we cannot evidence, so we do not claim it.

Siege Media: Content-Led B2B

HQ: San Diego, USA | Founded: 2012

Siege Media is an established content marketing agency in North America, and their pivot into GEO has been methodical. Their content quality is exceptional, they produce the kind of citation-worthy, data-rich articles that AI engines genuinely prefer. Their gap: no multilingual capability, limited structured data work, and their GEO practice is still maturing on the technical entity side.

Conductor: Enterprise Platform

HQ: New York, USA | Founded: 2010

Conductor’s platform-first approach gives enterprise brands a strong foundation for GEO, their Content Guidance product integrates AI intent signals directly into the content creation workflow. They’re best suited to Fortune 500 companies with internal content teams. Gap: their agency services are expensive, implementation timelines are long, and MENA capability is essentially zero.

uSERP: Link Authority Plus Content

HQ: Remote and USA | Founded: 2019

uSERP combines high-authority link building with content-driven GEO signals. Their editorial placements sit on high-authority publications, and links from DR80+ publications directly strengthen AI citation authority. The gap: their GEO practice is more of an enhanced link-building service than a true entity optimization methodology.

Skale: B2B SaaS Specialists

HQ: London, UK | Founded: 2020

Skale works almost entirely with B2B SaaS, they understand how AI engines describe and compare software, and they build content specifically to win those comparison queries. Their methodology is transparent and they publish their GEO frameworks openly, which is rare. Gap: narrow industry focus means they can’t serve non-SaaS businesses effectively.

Grow & Convert: Demand-Gen Content

HQ: San Francisco, USA | Founded: 2015

Grow & Convert’s stated “Pain Point SEO” approach maps onto AI-answer queries, their focus on high-intent queries maps directly to the kind of queries AI engines receive from buyers actively researching solutions. Their gap is the same as most US agencies: no non-English capability and limited structured data expertise.

There is no score column here, and that is deliberate. The one comparison we can make honestly is language coverage, so that is the comparison we make. VOCTOS runs Arabic and English GEO in-house, with native Arabic speakers rather than machine translation. The named Arabic results behind that are all published. Esaal has 753 pages cited by AI across twelve months, Planet VPN Arabic ranks 8,800 Arabic keywords as of September 2025, and Delta Medical Labs holds 1,186 keywords at position one on Google in Saudi Arabia. The five agencies above are strong operators in their own markets. None of them publishes an Arabic offering, which makes this a fit question rather than a quality one.

What Do Real AI Citation Numbers Look Like?

One question separates a GEO agency from an SEO agency with a new landing page. Can it show you a citation count with a source attached? All three below are published on voctos.com, each with its own case study, and each number here was read off that published page rather than an internal dashboard. Two caveats before you read them: page-level citation counts say nothing about how often a brand wins the answer outright. None of these engagements ran a holdout either, so we do not claim the work isolates cause. Not a vague “we improved your AI presence”, actual numbers. Here are three VOCTOS client engagements with full GEO-specific metrics.

What Does a Proper GEO Strategy Actually Look Like?

Most GEO “strategies” you’ll read about online describe content writing and hope. A real GEO strategy in 2026 is a structured, technical, and measured program. Here’s the exact methodology VOCTOS uses with every client:

The VOCTOS GEO Execution Framework, 7 Phases

01

AI Engine Audit, Where Are You Currently Cited?

Systematic query testing across Google AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and Gemini. We map your current citation footprint, or complete absence, for your 50 most important branded and category queries in both Arabic and English.

02

Entity Architecture, Making AI Engines “Know” You

Knowledge Graph entity registration, Wikipedia/Wikidata presence, Crunchbase/LinkedIn authority signals, JSON-LD Organization and Person schemas, NAP consistency audit across all digital surfaces.

03

Citation-Worthy Content Architecture

Reformatting existing content using direct-answer formatting, clear factual claims, structured data layering, and authoritative statistics. AI engines cite content that answers questions directly, not content that buries the answer in narrative.

04

E-E-A-T Signal Amplification

Author bio construction with verifiable credentials, expert quotes and contributor frameworks, external citations and data source attribution, industry publication guest contributions to build topical authority signals.

05

Arabic GEO Layer (MENA-Specific)

Native Arabic entity schema, RTL content crawlability optimization, Arabic query pattern analysis (which differs significantly from translated English queries), bilingual FAQ schema, Arabic Knowledge Graph entity signals.

06

Citation Source Authority Building

Strategic editorial placements on DR70+ publications that AI engines trust as authoritative sources. Digital PR for branded data and statistics that AI engines prefer to cite. Perplexity source list analysis and gap filling.

07

GEO Measurement Dashboard

Weekly citation tracking across all major AI engines, AI-referred session attribution in GA4, brand mention monitoring in AI outputs, citation share-of-voice vs. competitors, GEO velocity trending reports.

Why Is the GEO Landscape in MENA Different From Global Markets?

Every GEO agency list you’ll find covers North America, Western Europe, and occasionally APAC. None of them cover MENA with any depth. This is a significant market gap, and it’s why VOCTOS exists as a specialist rather than a generalist.

GEO in MENA: What We Can Evidence

Arabic AI citation volume we can source 753

pages cited by AI for Esaal, Arabic and English telehealth, across 12 months

Arabic keyword scale we have moved 8,800

Arabic keywords ranked for Planet VPN Arabic, up 85.7%, to September 2025

Saudi position we hold on a live account 1,186

Delta Medical Labs keywords at position one on Google in Saudi Arabia, March 2026 to present

What we do not have no benchmark

we hold no market-wide MENA benchmark for time to first citation, and we will not publish an invented one

Why MENA Looks Different Right Now

Arabic AI answers are thinner than English ones, and that is the honest version of the opportunity. We can evidence what it looks like on one account. Delta Medical Labs started from nothing in March 2026, and by July 2026 held 1,186 keywords at position one on Google in Saudi Arabia and a Semrush AI Visibility score of 18. We do not know how long that gap stays open. Anyone who tells you it is exactly twelve or eighteen months is guessing, and so would we be.

What Should You Ask Before Hiring a GEO Agency?

Before you sign a GEO agency contract in 2026, run the agency through this twelve-question checklist, starting with whether they can show a live client citation in Google AI Mode and whether they track citation counts on a real dashboard. If they cannot answer most of these without checking, that is your answer. Run the same twelve questions at VOCTOS.

🔍 Before You Hire a GEO Agency, 12 Questions to Ask

How Long Does GEO Actually Take?

Phase 1: Foundation

GEO Audit + Entity Architecture Build

Full AI citation audit across 5 engines, Knowledge Graph entity registration, schema implementation sprint, E-E-A-T author page construction.

Phase 2: Content Sprint

Citation-Worthy Content Reformatting

Top 20 pages reformatted for AI citation, FAQ schema deployment, direct-answer content blocks, bilingual optimization for Arabic queries.

Phase 3: Authority Building

Citation Groundwork Lands

Editorial placements go live on high-authority publications and Perplexity source analysis is completed. On our largest account the citation volume sits overwhelmingly in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, 3,600 and 1,800 pages against 130 in ChatGPT and 40 in Gemini as of July 2026, so that is where we expect the first movement.

Phase 4: Acceleration

Multi-Engine Citation Growth

ChatGPT Search and Perplexity citations begin appearing. GEO-referred sessions measurable in GA4. Citation share-of-voice trending upward vs. competitors.

Phase 5: Category Authority

Category Authority Established

Brand cited as default answer for key category queries. AI-referred revenue measurable. Competitors begin noticing citation gap. We do not publish an average time to citation. Our accounts differ too much in starting authority for one number to mean anything, and we would rather say so than invent it.

Verified Client Review

How Do GEO, SEO, and AEO Differ in the 2026 Search Stack?

One of the most common questions we get from clients: “Do I need GEO or SEO? And what’s AEO?” The honest answer is that in 2026 you need all three, because each serves a different goal: SEO ranks you in Google’s top three, AEO wins Featured Snippets and People Also Ask, and GEO gets your brand cited inside AI-generated answers.

Dimension SEO AEO GEO

Frequently Asked Questions About GEO Agencies

What does a GEO agency actually do?
A GEO agency optimizes your brand, content, and digital entity presence to be cited by AI-powered search engines like Google AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and Gemini. This includes entity architecture, citation-worthy content formatting, E-E-A-T authority building, structured data implementation, and source authority campaigns on high-trust publications.

How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO optimizes for traditional search ranking, getting your pages into the top three of Google’s blue links. GEO optimizes for AI citation, getting your brand cited by name in AI-generated answers. Both matter in 2026, but they require different techniques and measure success differently. VOCTOS delivers both under a unified strategy.

How long does GEO take to produce results?
We do not publish a timeline, because we cannot support one. What we can show is a single documented account. Delta Medical Labs began in March 2026, and by July 2026 held 1,186 keywords at position one on Google in Saudi Arabia, with 3,600 pages cited in Google AI Overviews and 1,800 in AI Mode. One account is not a benchmark. Your starting authority, your language and your category will all move that shape, which is why we tell you where you sit after the audit rather than before it.

Do I need a GEO agency that speaks Arabic?
If your customers search in Arabic, yes. Arabic AI queries are processed differently from English queries, require native Arabic entity schemas, and will not respond to machine-translated English content. VOCTOS runs Arabic and English GEO in-house, with native Arabic speakers rather than machine translation.

How much does GEO cost?
GEO engagements at VOCTOS start with a free citation audit. Retainer programs are scoped to your competitive landscape and citation goals, not pulled from a rate card. We believe in transparent, scope-based pricing. Contact us for a custom proposal scoped to your business.

Can I do GEO without doing SEO?
Technically yes, but not efficiently. GEO and SEO share foundational infrastructure, crawlability, site authority, content quality, structured data. Agencies that run GEO in isolation from SEO create conflicting signals and miss significant efficiency gains. VOCTOS’s integrated approach uses your SEO foundation to accelerate GEO results.
